Webflow improvements

There are quite a few features added in Webflow, which might seem small, but will make your work so much easier.

Text decorations

Create custom decorations where you can change the style, color, offset, position, ... Wavy strikethroughs for the win!

Design Approval

There are 2 new features in design approval, requesting changes or approve designs. Reviewers can leave a message, so you can quickly follow up on design feedback.

New Variable types

You can now use number and percentage variables to create reusable font sizes, margins, widths, ... Your design system will never have been so organized.

UI Refresh

On top of the smaller changes, Webflow's refreshed UI is now rolling out to all users. Cleaning up the interface to make it easier to use all of the recently released new features. Check out the new Webflow UI introduction video.

Libraries modal redesign

The libraries modal in Figma got a small redesign making it easier to see what libraries you are using in your file and which ones are recommended to add. This will give you a better overview of all available libraries to quickly add them to your files.

FlutterFlow Updates

Here are some of the new features added in FlutterFlow

  • Download files: A new action has been added to let users download a file from a url or bytes variable that should be downloaded.
  • New Drag tiggers: Two new triggers have been added for onDragStarted and onDragEnded actions so you can build more complex draggable experiences.

A look inside FPL - Figma Pattern Library

Figma shared a video where they talk out their design system FPL (Figma Pattern Library). They dive into how they work together, how variables are used, automated variable syncing to Github via the Figma REST API, how Code Connect is used and how they make it all scalable via their documentation site.
