Adobe

Generative Expand in Premier

This feature was in earlier preview this year, but now more widely available to everyone. With generative expand you can increase the length of video footage, correct eye movement and even audio. There are some limitations on video size (1920x1080 or 1280x720 resolutions and 16:9 aspect ratio) and audio formats (mono and stereo) however in this first release. But what’s great you can use all new footage and audio in commercial projects because the generated content is trained by approved video and audio. So you won’t have any copyright issues.

New in Maze

Maze unveiled a set of new features at Disco Conf, while also recapping some features that they have released earlier in the year. Here's what new:

  • Goal-based and free explore tasks: you can now choose how users should explore your prototype so you can end them after a specific goal has been reached or allow them to roam freely.
  • Sankey diagrams: with the new diagrams you can see how users navigated your prototype and how they reached success or where they dropped off.
  • Interview Studies: Simplifying modified research by providing scheduling, recruiting and AI-driven analysis.
  • Variant comparison: Compare up to five versions in a single study to see which design works best for users.
  • Atomic Evidence: Coming in the future, atomic evidence aims to embed research in the whole product development process.
