Design Thursday #28
A weekly recap of everything you need to know about tools, events, guidelines and design in general.
Rive Events
The big new feature in Rive is Events, a way to let your application know something should happen. For example: open links, play sound or load the rest of your page once your animation has completed. This will bring a lot more interactivity to your Rive animations and make it more closely integrated into your project.
FlutterFlow 4.0 now available
The latest version of FlutterFlow was announced during the first FlutterFlow conference and it is now available for everyone. On top of that they also released their incredibly powerful iPad application.
Stark for Developers
Stark is a suite of accessibility tools that has been available in all browsers and design tools to make sure you think about and improve the accessibility of your design or website. Now it’s also available for developers in beta. It can integrate with Github to check if the code you’ve written is accessible, there are inspect tools for web and it integrates with Figma’s Dev mode. This way devs can easily see the annotations that have been made in design.
On top of that, a whole lot of Stark tools that were previously part of the paid plan or now free to use.
