Figma Little Big Updates
Figma has made it a tradition to releasing little big updates that enhance the user experience of both Figma and FigJam. In the past, these updates were one release with all updates at once, but starting today and throughout this fall, they will be rolling out new updates every Thursday.
HTML to Framer
Framer released a cool Chrome extension that lets you select any element on a webpage and paste it in Framer with all styling still applied. Making it faster to build new sites and even convert your website to a Framer site.
Maze: AI-powered Continuous Product Discovery
Maze is set out to become the once tool for continuous product discovery, powered by AI. They already released “The Perfect Question” a few weeks ago, a way to remove bias or mistakes from your questions. Now they have a whole set of new features: dynamic follow-up, smart renaming of mazes, sentiment analysis, simulate answers and conversation summaries.
Maze will be sharing more during Disco Conf, their discovery, design and research conference on September 19.
Android brand redesign
Google updated Android’s logo this week to have a new 3D bugdroid and font. The last update was in 2019, where they introduced a more simple logo to make it more accessible and readable. This rebrand aims to make the brand more personal to reflect the Android community.
