Interruptions
Postpone or stop interruptions
Allow users to postpone or suppress interruptions, except for emergencies, to avoid disruptions.
Acceptance Criteria
• Users can delay or turn off interruptions, except in emergencies.
Examples
• Notifications can be paused until the end of the current session.
• Automatic updates can be postponed.
Exceptions
• Interruptions related to emergency situations are not required to be postponed or suppressed.
Tips
• Provide clear options to manage or disable interruptions.
• Ensure emergency notifications are distinct and unavoidable.
How to test?
1. Check Notification Controls: Verify that users can delay or turn off notifications and updates.
2. Test Emergency Exceptions: Confirm that emergency interruptions cannot be postponed or suppressed.
